  • 3rd generation = ONLY for screening

  • 4rth generation = ONLY for screening

  • 5th generation = A new state of the Art standard, where a portable device can offer hearing screening and diagnostic tools. This category is primarily applicable to young children or at the intervention phase of a EHDI program.
